ABOUT TPO

History

The Asian-Pacific City Summit held in Busan in August, 2000 decided to create a new organization which functions as an inter-city network to develop the tourist industry and to facilitate the economy as a whole in the Asian Pacific cities.

    The Tourism Promotion Organization for Asian-Pacific Cities (TPO) officially came into existence by adopting "Fukuoka Declaration" at the 5th Asian-Pacific City Summit in August, 2002.
