- On 6 December, Mr. Oh Keo-don, Mayor of Busan, Korea, as President of TPO and Mr. Kim Soo-il, Secretary-General of TPO visited the Shanghai City Hall to promote TPO and its 9th General Assembly, scheduled to take place in September 2019 in Busan, Korea. And they asked for the presence of Shanghai city at the Assembly.

- On 7 December, Both Mr. Oh and Kim had a talk with Ir.Tri Rismaharini, M.T, Mayor of Surabaya, Indonesia while attending the Global Mayors Forum held in Guangzhou, China, and asked her to participate in the 9th TPO General Assembly and play a key role in TPO.

- On 7 December, Mr. Ashok Kumar Byanju Shrestha, Mayor of Dhulikhel, Nepal, popularly known for the world-famous mountains - Himalayas, met Mr. Oh and Mr. Kim at the Global Mayors Forum. The Mayor of Dhulikhel assented to the request of joining TPO and invited Mr. Oh and Kim to attend a festival, which will be held in February in Dhulikhel, Nepal.

- On 7 December, the representatives of TPO had an opportunity to meet Dato' Nor Hisham Bin Ahmad Dahlan, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who agreed to play a leading role in TPO and participate in the 9th TPO General Assembly.

- On 7 December, Mr. Oh and Mr. Kim talked with Mr. Wen Guohui, Mayor of Guangzhou, China, served as the 3rd - 6th President city of TPO, who made a promise of his presence at the 9th TPO General Assembly and playing an important role in TPO.
